Three selected student proposals from the final project of the Department of Architecture at the Izmir University of Economics 2021/22.
The theme is the design of a water pavilion with associated facilities on the Inciralti coast in Izmir with the aim of demonstrating the diverse forms and qualities of water using visitor paths through various landscape elements.

Konu, suyun çeşitli şekil ve özelliklerini farklı çevre unsurlarının içinden geçen ziyaretçi patikaları vasıtasıyla göstermek için İzmir-İnciraltı sahilinde gerekli ekleriyle birlikte bir su çardağının tasarlanmasıdır.

Sense the water, experiment the water
The Water Pavilion is for the visitors to feel water within changing spaces.
By having threemain structured tubes it allows for different activities in the
pavilion. Such as visualied, water fall and green tubes.
Around each tube,
there are different activities for the visitors could do and sense the water
by changing spaces in the pavilion.

Suyu hisset, suyu deneyimle
Su Pavilyonu, ziyaretçilerin değişen alanlarda suyu hissetmeleri içindir.
Pavilyon yapısal ana elemanı oluşturan üç ana tüpe sahip olarak, farklı
aktivitelere izin verir. Görselleştirilmiş, şelale ve yeşil tüpler gibi. Her tüpün etrafında, ziyaretçilerin yapabileceği ve suyu hissedebileceği farklı aktivitelerle, pavilyonda geçen süreleri boyunca bunu her alan değişiminde
hissedebilecekler.

H2O - Liquid Meeting
The project site is located at Inciralti, next to the exit of Ilica Creek to the Gulf of Izmir, where the water of the land meets the water of the sea.With the sense of usage general aim to reach the water with highlighted water pavillion.Water pavillion located according to this usage,meeting point of sea and creek. Site divided 2 part according to hot weather and cold weather usage because of the harsh wind effect. For visitors usage, trying to create variety open, semi open and close areas of course supported with green areas.

Proje sahası İnciraltı mevkiinde, Ilıca Deresi'nin İzmir Körfezi'ne çıkışı yanında, kara suyunun deniz suyuyla buluştuğu noktada yer almaktadır.
Bu kullanıma göre konumlanan su köşkü, deniz ve derenin buluşma noktasıdır. Sert rüzgar etkisinden dolayı site sıcak hava ve soğuk hava kullanımına göre 2 bölüme ayrılmıştır.
Ziyaretçi kullanımı için yeşil alanlarla desteklenmiş açık, yarı açık ve kapalı alanlar oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır.
